Description

18 and 19 Kingsbury Square are mid-18th century buildings that stand two storeys tall with an attic. They are constructed from ashlar stone and feature a projecting plinth, a moulded cornice, and a panelled parapet, with keystones above the panels over No 19. The roof is tiled and has two off-ridge chimneys and one dormer with a two-light casement window. There is a slight central break in the façade, which includes two windows, a three-light two-storey bay, and a total of four narrow windows. The first floor has single hung glazing bar sashes, except for the narrow windows, while the bay features two-light glazing bar casements. The cornice and parapet design extends over the bay, and the windows have keyed lintels, except for the bay.

On the ground floor, there is a central single hung sash window, flanked by two narrow casements beside the door to No 19, with the left-hand casement being modern. The bay window is similar to that on the first floor. There is a through-passage to the left of No 18. The doorcases are adorned with later bracketed hoods, panelled pilasters, and panelled reveals. The door to No 19 has eight raised and fielded panels, with the upper two glazed, and features a mask and ring knocker. The door to No 18 has six moulded raised and fielded panels, a brass hoop and vase knocker, and a three-pane overlight. Inside, the ground floor bay window room is panelled.
