Description
This is a house located on the north side of High Street in Market Lavington, dating back to the 17th century and largely refaced in the early 19th century. It is rendered and has a slate roof. The property consists of two storeys and a cellar, with three bays to the front. A central door is accessed via a pilastered and gabled surround, featuring an overlight. To the left of the door is an eight-paned shop window with flanking pilasters and consoles, and to the right a tripartite window. A plat band runs horizontally across the front. The first-floor windows are twelve-paned sashes with concealed boxes. A gable stack is located on the right side of the building. The interior retains exposed timber framing and ceiling beams.
