Description

The Kings Arms is an inn, likely dating to the 17th century or earlier, with alterations from the early 19th century. The building is constructed of stone, with the ground floor rendered and the upper floor featuring a jettied and banded timber frame clad in tiles. It has a pantiled roof. The inn is two storeys high, with a cellar, and comprises three bays, with a fourth bay on the left as a separate structure. A 20th-century six-panelled door provides access to the front, and the ground floor has 20-pane and 16-pane sash windows. The first floor has timber casement windows. The roof is hipped on the right side. A rear wing extends from the left side of the building, with a steeper pitched roof to the left bay. Double-range rear roofs are present. The interior has not been inspected.
