Description

This is an early 19th-century row of three buildings located on Northgate Street. The buildings are two storeys high and rendered with a painted finish. They have gable end pantile roofs. Numbers 11 and 13 each have two windows on the first floor, while number 12 has only one. The windows are recessed sashes with later glazing bars set within flush architrave frames. Venetian shutters are present on numbers 11 and 12. The ground floor of number 11 features a late 19th-century double shop front with flanking pilasters, gabled brackets, a fascia board, and a cornice. Number 12 has a recessed sash window in the centre, a recessed four-panel door (two glazed) to the left, and a matching passage door to the right. Number 13 has a wide window; three of the original upper panes remain, and a recessed four-panel door (two glazed). Numbers 1 to 18 on the same side of the street, along with all the listed buildings on the South West Side of Market Place, form a group.
