Description

The gazebo, located in the garden to the east of Rock House, was built around the 1850s. It is constructed from local red sandstone, with some areas repaired using cement. The structure is square in shape and positioned at the end of the garden, providing a view of the sea.

The exterior features a single storey with an embattled parapet and a platband. The front has one window, and to the left, there is a shallow gabled porch that includes a segmental-headed arched doorway, with an arched window to the right. Each side of the gazebo has a single one-light window, while the elevation facing the sea has one two-light window. It is noted that there may have been a flight of external steps leading to the flat roof. Inside, the ceiling is clad with clay tiles.
