Description

34, The Terrace is a circa 1830s terraced house in Torquay, currently used as offices. The building is cement-rendered with a slate roof and rendered stacks. It has a double-depth plan with a central doorway.

The symmetrical front façade has three bays and rises to three storeys. A projecting cornice with a raised blocking course sits above the main elevation. A Doric porch with columns and entablature provides access, with a round-headed doorway containing a blocked fanlight. The ground floor windows are 12-pane horned sashes set within round-headed recesses. The first floor windows are 6-over-9-pane horned sashes, and the second floor windows are 12-pane horned sashes.

The interior has not been inspected, but may contain original features.
