Calf House At North West End Of South West Farmyard At Edginswell Farmhouse

The building is a farm structure, likely a calf house, dating from the late 19th century. It is located at the north-west end of the south-west farmyard at Edginswell Farmhouse. The rear wall is made of stone rubble, and it has a gabled corrugated-iron roof, with the front elevation also clad in corrugated-iron. The plan of the building encloses the farmyard on the north-west side. The exterior features a doorway at the left end, which has one intact plank door. Inside, there are brick feeding troughs. The roof consists of two 'A'-frame trusses with very slight scantling and nailed joints. This building is included for its group value with Edginswell Farmhouse and other agricultural buildings.
