Description

This is a small house, likely dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of plastered cob with a thatched roof, the thatch being swept down at one end and with a rear centre stack. The original plan comprised a small, single-depth, two-room house with a later rear wing at a right angle. Originally, it was part of a group of cottages. The asymmetrical front facade has two 20th-century front doors, each with a modern thatched porch supported by posts. The windows are a mixture of small timber casements, some with one light and others with two. The interior was modernized in the mid-20th century.
