Description
This is a villa dating from the 1850s, located on West Hill Road in Torquay. It is a double-depth plan, with two main rooms and a service block to the left. The exterior is plastered, with a hipped slate roof and rendered stacks topped with cornices or platbands. The symmetrical three-bay front has deep, boxed eaves. The central bay is recessed, and the outer bays project slightly, featuring channelled rustication below the first-floor sill band. A central, enclosed projecting porch has paired pilasters, a deep entablature, and a balustraded parapet. The front has three first-floor and two ground-floor windows, each with 12 panes. The interior has not been inspected, but may retain features of architectural interest.
