Description

The gate piers to the south of Abbey School date from the 1840s and are constructed of cement render. They are designed in a style that complements the school. The piers are octagonal in shape and feature deep moulded cornices, along with embattled caps that have coped merlons and embrasures. These piers are included for their group value with Abbey School.
