Description
These are mid-19th century retaining garden walls associated with the Belvedere House Hotel and Braddons Hill House. The walls are constructed of local grey limestone rubble, with the stonework carefully laid towards the entrance of the hotel. They are notably tall, forming a terraced landscape. At the Braddons Hill House end of the walls is a blocked round-headed doorway situated below ground level. The hotel entrance is marked by square gate piers. The walls are listed for their group value.
