Granary over implement shed. c1830s. Part of planned farmyard at Lower Yalberton farm. Roughcast with a Roman tile roof. Sited to the rear of the farmhouse with first-floor access on the N side and steps down to the yard. Forms part of the higher yard of a split-level double-courtyard planned farmyard. 2 storeys. Hipped slate roof. The N side has steps down and a doorway into the first floor with a shuttered window to the right. The right-return has a segmental-headed window on the ground floor. The left-return has a single barred window. Rear elevation has a doorway and 2 slit windows to the yard and faces the outbuilding adjoining the farmhouse at right-angles. INTERIOR: not inspected. Included for historic and group value with other contemporary buildings in the 2 yards.
