Description
A terrace of six houses located on Melville Street in Torquay, dating from the 1840s. The houses are constructed of stucco and arranged with a slightly concave frontage. They have gabled slate roofs and rendered stacks with platbands. Each house is double-depth, one room wide, and extends over two storeys, a half-basement, and an attic. The frontages are two windows wide with deep eaves. Original features include six-panel front doors (some of which have been replaced) and 12-pane sash windows (again, some replaced). Segmental-headed sash windows are present in the basement level. The interior has not been inspected, but may contain original features of interest.
