Description
Nos. 6-16 Curledge Street is a terrace of six houses built around the 1850s. The houses are stuccoed and have slate roofs, with gabled ends and stacks featuring cement-rendered shafts and old pots. They have a double-depth plan with rear service wings and steps leading up from the street to the front doors. The terrace is two storeys high, arranged in pairs, with the rooflines of each pair stepping down to the left. Each house has a two-window front, deep boxed eaves, and a platband at the first-floor sill level, with pilaster strips on the left and right of each house. The slightly recessed front doors, which are 20th-century replacements, are located to the right and feature three-pane overlights. Each house has one ground-floor and two first-floor original hornless 12-pane sash windows. The interior has not been inspected but may contain features of interest.
