Description
Nos. 22 and 23 Framlington Place is a terrace of houses built around 1850. The houses are constructed of yellow brick with an ashlar plinth and dressings, topped with a slate roof. Each house has three storeys and three bays. There is one step leading up to the four-panelled doors, which feature overlights and are set in Tuscan cases with prominent cornices. The windows have wedge stone lintels and margined sashes, with projecting stone sills on the ground and second floors, and a sill band on the first floor. The terrace is finished with a dentilled cornice, and the low-pitched hipped roof includes ashlar and brick chimneys with cornices.
