Description
Framlington House is a villa, now used as offices, dating from around 1850. It is constructed of Flemish bond grey brick with an ashlar-coped plinth, and features ashlar quoins and dressings, topped with a slate roof. The building has two storeys and four bays. The entrance, located in the second bay, consists of a six-panelled door with a fanlight, set in a moulded surround within a gabled Gothic doorcase. Above the door is a sash window. The left bay projects and contains tripartite sash windows on the ground floor, while the other bays have single sash windows framed by architraves. Ground floor windows have aprons, and there are tile panels with guilloche and rose patterns below the first-floor windows. A band runs along the first floor, and there is a bracketed cornice. The low-pitched hipped roof features corniced ashlar and brick chimneys.
