Description

No. 22 High Street is an early 19th-century house located on the west side of High Street in Swindon. The building is constructed of rubble stone with ashlar quoins and has a roughcast facade. It features a slate roof adorned with pierced ridge tiles and gable stacks. The house is three stories tall and has three bays, although the ground floor has been completely removed. The first floor has canted bays with 2-pane sash windows that have iron rails above them. The second floor also features 2-pane sash windows, framed by lugged and swept architraves. The eaves are decorated with paired modillion. This property is listed for its group value.
