Description

This is an early 19th century thatched terrace, comprising numbers 10 to 14 on Baker’s Road in Wroughton. Numbers 10 to 12 have two windows, with glazing bar sashes and ashlar lintels above the ground-floor windows. A door is located on the right-hand side. Number 13 features a range of four-light casement windows, with relieving arches on the ground floor, and a door to the left, which may be original and is characterized by beaded detailing with a diamond light. Four brick ridge chimneys are present. Number 14 is a low, two-storey, "L" shaped extension to the right of number 13, with two windows incorporating glazing bar casements and a central door. The roof is now tiled, a later alteration. The terrace is included in the listing for group value.
