Description
This is an early 19th century terrace, comprising numbers 9 to 11, Silver Street. The buildings are constructed of painted brick and have a modern tiled hipped roof. They are two storeys in height, with one window each, except for number 12, which has an additional window in a recessed end bay. The windows are in an early 19th century style, with some original and some replacement casements. The ground floor windows have cambered head arches, with the exception of number 12's ground floor, which features an early 19th century square bay window with glazing bars, possibly a former shop window. Modern doors have been installed. Numbers 2 to 11, along with number 16 Wick Lane, form a group with number 1 Church Lane and the wall and outbuilding at number 14 Wick Lane, all of which are considered to be of local interest, apart from number 1 Church Lane, numbers 9 to 11, Silver Street, and number 16 Wick Lane.
