Description
No 9 Church Lane is an 18th-century cottage constructed of red brick with some grey headers. It features a brick eaves cornice and a tiled roof with stone slate verges. The building has two storeys and two windows, which are sashes with cambered head linings to boxed frames, although the original barred glazing has been replaced. There is a central door with an added canopy. This cottage is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 12 Church Lane (excluding No 5) and Nos 1 and 2 Priory Place, all of which are buildings of local interest. Additionally, No 1 forms part of a group with buildings on Silver Street.
