Description
Candlemas Cottage is an early 19th-century building located on Church Lane. It is rendered with a slate roof and has two storeys. The cottage features two sash windows with late 19th-century glazing and a recessed entrance. It stands forward from the adjacent properties, Nos 10 and 11. Candlemas Cottage is part of a group of buildings of local interest, which includes Nos 1 to 12 (consecutive) on Church Lane, although there is no No 5. Additionally, No 1 forms part of a group with buildings on Silver Street.
