Description
Nos 1 and 2 on Quay Road are a pair of cottages dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. They feature a rendered facade and a slate roof, standing two storeys tall with one window each, and a blank space in the centre on the first floor. The cottages have early 19th century casement windows and modern doors. They are included in Grade II for their group value, as they form part of a group with the Red House Museum, its Art Gallery and Picture Store, the Museum Garden Wall, and the Churchyard and walls and Vicarage. This group is also associated with another group on Church Lane.
