Description
No. 11 Church Street is a 19th-century house located between other similar buildings. It features a stucco facade and a slate roof with a gabled dormer. The house has two storeys and two windows, which are sash windows with late 19th-century glazing. The later 19th-century shop front includes a cornice, a plain frieze, and an architrave, with green ceramic pilasters that have bas relief decoration and a tiled base beneath the unbarred shop windows. There is a central door. This building is included in Grade II for its group value with the surrounding structures. Nos 10 to 13, along with their railings and wall, form a group with Nos 14 to 16 and their associated wall, as well as the Priory Church, the gates to the churchyard, the sundial, and the boundary walls to the churchyard and Garden of Remembrance.
