Description
The gateway to Christchurch Churchyard is a 19th-century structure located on Church Street. It features cast iron panelled piers, gates, and two small flanking turnstiles, all adorned with Gothic, trefoil arched panels. The piers and turnstiles are topped with finials, while the gates include an overthrow and a square tapered lamp at the center. This gateway is part of a group that includes Nos 10 to 13, which have railings and a wall, as well as Nos 14 to 16, along with their associated wall, the Priory Church, the gates to the churchyard, a sundial, and the boundary walls of the churchyard and the Garden of Remembrance.
