Description

Rose Cottage is a late 18th century to early 19th century building located on Stony Lane. It features a painted brick facade and a slate roof, standing two storeys tall. The cottage has two windows, which are sash windows with glazing bars, except for the ground floor south window that has an early 19th century casement. The entrance is located in the center of the facade. Rose Cottage is listed as Grade II due to its group value with nearby buildings. It forms part of a group that includes Nos 163 to 169 (odd) and Nos 173 and 175, alongside Nos 168 to 172 (even) opposite. Notably, No 175 is recognized as a building of local interest.
