Description

Meath Cottage, located at 168 Stony Lane, dates from the 18th to early 19th century. It features a painted brick facade and a hipped thatched roof, standing two storeys tall. The cottage has two windows on the upper floor, which are late 18th to early 19th century casements with glazing bars. The ground floor windows have cambered head linings. There is a gabled porch at the center of the front. Additionally, there are single-storey outshuts on both the north and south sides. Meath Cottage is part of a group that includes Nos 163 to 169 (odd) and Nos 173 and 175, as well as Nos 168 to 172 (even) opposite, with No 175 being noted as a building of local interest.
