Description

Avon Beck Cottage is an 18th or early 19th century building of group value. It has a painted brick facade and a thatched roof. The cottage is two storeys high with two windows. The windows are early 19th century casements with glazing bars, although the lower windows are replacements. A gabled porch is located in the centre. Avon Beck Cottage forms a group with numbers 163 to 169 (odd) and 175, together with numbers 168 to 172 (even) on the opposite side of the road. Number 175 is noted as a building of local interest.
