Description
Roselea Cottage is a cottage dating from the 18th century to early 19th century. The northern bay is higher and slightly recessed, suggesting it may have once been a separate cottage. The facade is roughcast, while the northern bay is made of painted brick. It features a thatched roof and has two storeys. There are three windows, which are late 18th century to early 19th century casements with glazing bars and added shutters, except for the modern thatched bay on the ground floor of the north side. The central entrance is located in the original southern cottage, which has a one-storey outshut to the south. Roselea Cottage is part of a group that includes Nos 163 to 169 (odd) and Nos 173 and 175, along with Nos 168 to 172 (even) opposite, with No 175 being a building of local interest.
