Description

Yew Tree Cottage is a building dating from the 18th century to early 19th century. The front facade is roughcast, while the sides are painted brick. It features a hipped thatched roof and stands two storeys tall. The cottage generally has two windows, which are late 18th century to early 19th century casements. There is a solid porch with a half hipped, thatched roof. Yew Tree Cottage is part of a group that includes Nos 163 to 169 odd and Nos 173 and 175, forming a cohesive architectural ensemble with Nos 168 to 172 opposite. Notably, No 175 is recognized as a building of local interest.
