Description

18th-century cottages, located in Bishopstone. Mace's Cottage and Lyndercote are a pair of cottages constructed of chalk rubble, with some areas painted and rendered. They are two-and-a-half storeys in height, with two or more eyebrow dormers, the one at Mace’s being larger. Modern porches have been added, approximately central to each cottage. Lyndercote includes a modern extension to the south, with a hip roof, and a modern bow window on the east side, facing the path. A 19th-century detached shed sits in the garden to the west, featuring a hipped thatched roof.
