Description

Finch Hill Cottage is likely from the early 19th century. It's a thatched cottage of an 'L' shape, rendered in a white finish. The cottage has one and a half storeys, with a small eyebrow dormer window on each side of the angled front. A modern sun-parlour with glazing, a projecting modern porch, and a western extension fill the angle. Gable-end chimneys are constructed of brick. The corner of the cottage facing the path is rounded. The building is listed for group value, as it contributes to a picturesque village scene.
