Description

Willow End is likely an early 18th-century cottage situated at a right angle to Castor Splash Lane. It has a thatched roof with gabled ends, and is one storey high with attics. The exterior is roughcast rendered. There are two casement windows and two dormers at the eaves. A thatched glazed porch sits at the front, and brick chimneys are located at the gable ends. A fire insurance plaque is set into the gable. A modern single-storey flat-roofed wing extends from the south-west side, and a modern single-storey outbuilding with a thatched roof is located at the east end. A stone inscribed "1652 MR" is visible on one of the chimneys.
