Description

This is an early 18th-century house situated on the south side of Peterborough Road, near Castor. The house is constructed from roughly-shaped stone rubble with flush quoins. It has a steeply pitched roof covered in Welsh slate with gabled ends. The building is one storey high, plus attics, and features three gabled dormers. The front has two ground-floor windows, each with two lights and glazing bars. A central plank door is protected by a wooden lintel. Brick chimney stacks have been raised. A modern, single-storey extension made of concrete, with a slate roof, has been added to the left side (south-east).
