Description
Broadgate House is a mid-18th century house located on the north side of Broadgate in Great Easton. The building is constructed from coursed rubble stone and features quoins, with a Welsh slate roof and brick stacks at the rear. It has a plinth and a band, and consists of two storeys with three sash windows: two 8/8 windows and one 6/6 window. The central doorway is accessed by three stone steps and features a six-panelled door with glazed top panels. There is a large lean-to on the left end of the house, which has a two-light casement window in the gable above. The gable apices of both ends of the house are made of red brick. The lean-to also has a two-light window with top lights facing the road, and there are further outhouse extensions located behind the lean-to, which feature wooden lintels.
