Description

39 High Street is a house dating from the 18th to early 19th century. It is built of coursed squared stone with a Welsh slate roof, featuring stone and brick end stacks and stone coped gables. The building has two ranges, both with gables facing the street, and the rear range projects to the left. The front of the house has two storeys, with a 2-light and a 3-light casement window. On the ground floor to the left, there is a 6-panelled door with an overlight, and to the right, a 3-light wooden mullion and transom window. The rear range has 2½ storeys and includes a 3-light casement window. On the right side of the facing gable end, there is a 3-light wooden mullion and transom window, with a 3-light casement above it and a 1-light window in the attic.
