Description
No. 47 is a house located on High Street in Great Easton, dating from the late 17th century to the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared stone with stone dressings and features a Collyweston slate roof, complete with a rendered brick end stack and stone coped gables. The house has a prominent projecting gable at the center of the front, which includes a large stack at the apex.
The building is 2½ storeys tall and is adorned with stone mullion windows. On the first floor, there is a 2-light window in the center of the gable above the ground floor, a 3-light window to the left, a tiny 1-light window in the center, and a 3-light window in a blocked doorway to the right. The right end of the house features a 4-light window and a tiny 1-light window, with a 3-light window above and a 2-light window in the attic. At the rear, there is a lean-to extension. The left end of the building includes 20th-century casements and a door within the lean-to extension.
