Description

The garden wall at The Old Rectory and The Vicarage is an 18th-century structure made of coursed rubble stone and mud, featuring coping of Collyweston slate and corrugated tile. It stands approximately 2.5 meters high and serves to separate the gardens of The Old Rectory and The Vicarage from High Street. The wall extends along the left side of a footpath and continues along Lount's Crescent, where there are two gateway openings. On the right side of the High Street, there is a gateway that includes a pair of ashlar moulded stone gate piers, complete with a plinth, cornice, and ball finials.
