Description

This is a house dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of coursed, squared rubble with a Welsh slate roof.

The building is of three bays and two storeys, with a hipped roof and chimney stacks on the east and west sides. A single-storey extension projects to the east, featuring a catslide roof. The main facade is symmetrical, with a four-panel front door set beneath a finely dressed, stepped, five-part lintel with a keystone. The window openings have slightly cambered arches of graded stones and contain eight-over-eight sash windows; the first-floor windows are slightly shorter than those on the ground floor. The extension has a single window matching the style of the ground-floor windows. The east chimney is built of stone, while the west chimney, rising above the gable of the adjacent building, is brick. Both are double flues.
