Description

This is a late 18th-century house located on the south side of Maison Dieu. The house is built of coursed, squared stone with contrasting lighter-coloured mortar, and has a stone slate roof.

The exterior is symmetrical, with three bays and two storeys above a basement. The central front door is four-panelled and is approached by three stone steps. Above the door is a fanlight with gothic glazing bars, set within a stone doorcase consisting of pilasters that support a key-stoned basket arch. There are three six-over-six hornless sash windows on each of the first and ground floors, each with a flat arch of voussoirs and projecting sills. The basement door and one ground floor window are modern. Brick end stacks are shared with the adjacent properties.

Numbers 28 and 30 Maison Dieu form a group.
