8/16 Stable about 60 metres north east of Hamswell House G.V. II
Stable, now garage. Late C15/early C16 origin, with C19 and C20 alterations. Limestone rubble with stone dressings and quoins, double Roman tiled roof with raised coped verges and finials, stepped stonework under verges, rubble lean-to with corrugated asbestos roof to east. South elevation has C20 garage doors and loading door above with timber lintel, Interior: C19 2-bay roof, tie-beam, collar, 2 rows of purlins, possibly former cruck-frame as in barn about 70 metres north east of Hamswell House (q.v.).
