Description
This stable, located about 4 meters southeast of Whimington Farmhouse, dates from the early 19th century and has a roof that was repaired in the 20th century. It is constructed from granite rubble and features large quoins on the left side, with a half-hipped slate roof that has ridge coping. The building is rectangular and has three doors on the front and one central door at the rear, with a hayloft situated above the stable. The front has three doors that have 20th-century timber lintels, while the left end includes a loading door positioned under the eaves and a wooden lean-to. The right end features two unglazed window openings, and the rear has a central opening. The hayloft is located on the first floor.
