Description
This stable, located about 5 meters southeast of the Old Farmhouse, is likely from the 18th century. It is constructed of granite rubble with large granite quoins and features a slate roof with ridge tiles and gable ends. The building has a rectangular plan and consists of two storeys. The ground floor includes two single-light window openings on the left with roughly hewn granite lintels, and two narrow doors on the right also with granite lintels. The first floor has a small window on the left with shutters that have strap hinges, a deep loading door on the right under the eaves, and a small window opening on the right with a shutter. There is a buttress on the left side. The left gable end has a single-storey lean-to with a slate roof and a door at the front, along with a door in the gable end and a loading door above. The right gable end features a small ventilation light with a rough granite lintel at the ground floor on the left and an upper loading door with a pentice hood. The rear of the building has a loading door under the eaves on the left, opposite the large loading door at the front, and a small doorway at the ground floor on the left. The interior has not been inspected. This stable is part of a cohesive group of buildings around a farmyard, which includes the threshing barn and the old farmhouse.
