Description
The Coach House is an early 19th-century building, originally serving as a coach house for Battlefields, now converted into a house. It features limestone rubble and ashlar construction with an asbestos slate roof, designed in an L-plan. The building is two storeys high and has four windows. On the ground floor, there is a round-headed arched recess with a 20th-century door, along with three segmental-headed arched recesses. Two of these recesses on the left contain 15-pane sash windows with segmental heads, while stable doors are located to the right. The first floor has four sash windows with cills, a cornice, a parapet, and coping topped with two urns. To the left, there is a block made of rubble that has five windows, each with two lights featuring moulded mullions and surrounds. Above this block is a blocked oval bull's eye window, a small gable, and a cornice and parapet that extends over it, along with a weathervane and ashlar quoins. The rear and interior of the building are not accessible.
