Description

Talebrocke is a cottage dating from the mid to late 17th century. It features a rendered exterior and a pantile roof, with a rendered stack. The building is single storey with an attic, and has a steep gable on the left side. It consists of two bays, with 20th-century two-light casement windows and an off-centre 20th-century door. To the left, there is a single storey and attic wing from the 19th century. Inside, the cottage has a cross passage with a room to the right and a hall with an unheated room beyond to the left, which includes stop-chamfered beams. This cottage is a small example of the gabled vernacular farmhouse type.
