Description
St. Andrew's School is a village school dated 1844, constructed of rubble with freestone dressings and featuring a double Roman tiled roof. The building is designed in a Tudor Gothic style and is single storey with four bays. It has 2-light casements that include chamfered mullions and depressed 4-centred heads, all set under dripstones. To the right, there is a plank door framed in a chamfered surround with a 4-centred head. The front elevation includes buttresses that terminate in eaves stacks, which bear brass plaques with incised Gothic lettering made by Willet of Bristol. There is also a single storey extension on the left.
