Description
A late 17th or 18th century brewhouse and wash-house, now used as outbuildings and a garage, stands immediately northwest of The Gables. The building is constructed of rubble, with a double Roman tiled roof and a rubble stack. It has a single storey and an attic within a steep gable. Two windows, one with two lights and the other with three, feature casements with ovolo-moulded mullions. A plank door is set within a moulded surround. A single-storey extension adjoins the left side, and a 20th-century garage door is set into the north gable end. Internally, a notable feature includes an oven, a copper, a fireplace, and a pump.
