Description
Kite's Cottage and Kite's Farm Cottage, dating from the early 18th century, have been altered over time. The buildings are constructed from rubble with pantile roofs. They feature a three-storey central section with gable end chimneys, flanked by two-storey wings that have coped verges and saddlestones. The central part has a single range of windows, including two-light oak ovolo mullion windows on the second floor and three-light 19th-century segmental headed windows below. To the left, there is a segment headed door with a bracketed flat hood and a half-glazed door. The left wing has two windows with 19th-century designs, while the right wing features a gabled porch with rounded corners. At the rear, the central section has two-light oak ovolo mullion windows, and the east wing has a lean-to with a re-used two-light stone mullion window and a doorway with stopped wooden sides dating from around 1700, topped with a 19th-century head.
