Description
Boxtree Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage constructed from Doulting rubble, featuring a 20th-century pantile roof with coped verges on kneelers and end chimneys. The building is two stories tall and has a symmetrical façade with one bay on the left and two bays on the right. The left-hand side includes a mid-18th-century flat mullion window with an edge-roll surround, while the right-hand side has altered casements, except for a ground-floor, two-light ovolo mullion window with a cornice. The central door has been converted into a window, and there is a modern lean-to porch positioned to the left of the center. Inside, the cottage contains a contemporary fireplace and an adjacent winder staircase.
