Description

Rookery Farm House is a farmhouse dating from around 1650, with an enlargement made in the late 18th century. The building features Doulting rubble with rough quoins, a coped verge, and a slate roof. Originally designed as a gable entry house, the entrance has been blocked by a large 18th-century addition that forms the main facade. The house is two storeys high and has two bays. On the ground floor, there are two-light reserved chamfer mullion windows with angled labels above, while the first floor features two-light ovolo moulded mullioned windows. The wing at the rear, which is at right angles to the main structure, is of particular interest.
