Description
Old Hopyard is a detached cottage dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of random rubble Doulting stone and features a stone slate gabled roof with plain copings and ashlar stone end chimney stacks. The cottage is two stories high and has a two-window front with a central entrance. The door, which dates from the 20th century, is top half glazed with six panes set in a chamfered, square-headed stone frame. To the left of the door, there is a three-light, three-pane casement window in a chamfered stone mullion frame. The remaining windows are two-light, three-pane casements also set in chamfered stone mullion frames.
